Best Lunch in Whistler Village for Outdoor Enthusiasts

Lunch is a big deal in Whistler Village. This may seem like a fairly broad statement to make, but in reality, it may very well be the most important meal of the day for people living within and visiting our community at this time of the year. Every AM there is a mad rush to hit the slopes, with “dawn patrollers” hopping on the lift to beat the crowds. Very few have time to squeeze in a big breakfast, opting instead to grab a quick pastry and espresso from one of the town’s many top notch coffee shops. As far as dinner is concerned, well, of course some of the country’s best dining establishments are here to satiate the evening appetites of locals and visitors alike, but dinner around town tends to run a bit later in the winter. The ski hills are jammed with skiers and boarders looking to maximize every drop of daylight, so dinner in the season often blends into the evening’s apres ski scene. Lunch however, is when most parties take the time to indulge their appetites and taste buds while seeking the ultimate sustenance to reenergize and get them ready for another late day bout on Blackcomb.

Our Whistler Village restaurant is very aware of this behavior adopted by our outdoor enthusiasts and action sport adventurers, those that require not only a meal to satisfy their well-attained afternoon appetites, but one that prepares them for the remaining day’s activities ahead. Thus, as Whistler Blackcomb enters prime season on the slopes we thought we’d provide some menu-based intel as to why our Whistler restaurant has the best lunch in the entire village – for those that of you that have certainly earned it.
