Our Whistler village restaurant just launched our latest menu for the late Spring / early Summer season of 2015. With it, we have delivered four desserts that have collectively been defined by early reviews (from our cherished patrons) as being the best of this British Columbia resort town. While these additions can be found on our dessert menu here, we thought we’d dedicate this week’s blog post to digging deeper into the culinary concepts combined within this oh-so-sinfully-sweet quartet. We urge you to proceed with caution, as the following descriptions alone will smother any hope you may have had for abstaining until “cheat day”.

Cinco de Mayo just passed and with it a slew of mainstream articles discussing the topic of Mexican cuisine, including this one from Yahoo stating that “Yes, Mexican Food Can be Healthy”.
There is indeed a misconception about our regional dishes. When casual foodies picture Mexican food they conjure images of carb-laden wraps oozing gooey cheese and clumps of retried beans from their edges. While such a thing can be found in many fast-food establishment takes on Tex-Mex and Mexi-Cali (often mistaken as being inherently Mexican) this is untrue of authentic Mexican dining.
