most-instagrammable-restaurant-in-whistler (1)

There is no escaping it, for many Instagram has become as much a part of the dining experience as a fork and knife. There is nary a restaurant in Whistler Village where an evening dining experience doesn’t evidence at least one party subtly (or not so subtly) snapping a square pic of their appetizer, dinner, dessert, and/or beverage. The concept of sharing ones dining experience in this manner is instrumental in the choices that they make, not only when it comes to their order, but when it comes to the restaurant they choose to visit.

Why do people do it? Some studies actual state that posting photos of food to Instagram before consumption makes it taste even better. We’re not here to analyze that. Instead, we’re happy to embrace those of you with a penchant for Instadining while visiting the resort town of Whistler BC.

We never set out to be one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in the Village. It sort of just happened. Read further to find out why.

Best Summer Dining in Whistler BC? 5 Reasons Why We Think You’ll Agree

Best-Summer-Dining-in-Whistler-BC (1)

We’re right smack in the middle of the summer season here in Whistler and it’s been an amazing one to say the least. You must admit, the village of Whistler BC has one of the most unique summertime personalities in all of North America. Here you are in one of the most renowned ski resorts in the world, and it feels more like a beach town in July. Locals and visitors alike are cruising along in flip flops, shorts, tanks and tees, talking (not complaining) about the heat and slurping 20 oz iced coffees and 44 oz Big Gulps by the dozens. Boats are being loaded up with water-skis, wake-boards, and inner-tubes before being towed off to Alpha, Alta, and Lost Lake. We’re pretty sure we saw someone walking down Village Stroll with a surfboard under their arm the other day (#notkidding). Summer is in the air and when this is the case tastes in dining tend to complement the vibe. All of a sudden the more traditional restaurant scene doesn’t cut it, and you seek an unforgettable culinary experience that summer memories are made from. You’ve come to the right place.

Best Tequila in Whistler and Which Dishes to Pair it With

You likely have some idea about wine-pairing, even if it is simply in regard to your own personal preferences and how it applies to which dishes you choose to match your favorite glass of Chardonnay with. However, the concept of tequila pairing has taken off in the other two-thirds of North America (this has already been a part of the culinary scene in Mexico for quite some time) over the last five years. And if you, a tequila enthusiast, are just hearing about it for the first time today (as you read this) you’re probably salivating at the concept. To make this article even more relevant to you and your party (guests to our Whistler Village community) we will address the general types of tequila found on our beverage list, and match them to our current Spring/Early-Summer menu of 2015.
